  • Deuce

My first hot rod since high school. Started in 2004 and finished in 2005, it's an all steel Deaborn Deuce with electric windows, a convertible top, AC, and cruise control. It's made a round trip to the Midwest in June of 2006 on one of Andy's Indy trips and never missed a beat. Having a closed cabin, air suspension, and AC made for a very comfortable trip.

The TCI frame was painted and assembled it right where it sits in the driveway. It has a crate 383 small block, 700R4 transmission, a Ford 9" rear and Air-Ride suspension all around.

The engine is a 383 stroker small block Chevy. It has an Offenhouser side by side duel four barrel mainfold with fuel injection hidden under the manifold. The Holly carbs only act as throttle bodies.

Sid Chavers did the leather interior. The arm rest houses the electric windows and air suspension controls.

Here;s a shot of the dash.

The top stows under a steel tonneau cover behid the seat. With electric roll up windows it's fairly dry in the rain.

The happy couple out for a spin.
